Safety Engineer

Job Description
Al Qassim Aluminium and Glass is seeking a qualified and experienced Safety Engineer to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations across our project sites. The candidate will be responsible for implementing safety policies, conducting inspections, and promoting a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor HSE policies and procedures at project sites
• Conduct regular site safety inspections and risk assessments
• Ensure compliance with local authority and company safety regulations
• Identify hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and training for workers
• Prepare and maintain HSE documentation, reports, and records
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses
• Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and project managers
• Ensure proper use of PPE and safety equipment
• Liaise with consultants, clients, and safety authorities when required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering or Safety Management
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Safety Engineer in construction or metal/aluminium works
• NEBOSH IGC or equivalent safety certification (mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of HSE standards and local safety regulations
• Ability to prepare safety reports and documentation
• Good communication and leadership skills
• Immediate joiners preferred

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
