Safety engineer

➢ Responsible for administering and implementing Company HSE plan on site.
➢ Respond promptly to loss prevention concerns.
➢ Conduct audits on different projects and basic facilities and recommend solutions for
improvement.
➢ Liaise with the clients to maintain relationship and to satisfy their requirements in terms of
safety compliance.
➢ Lead the department and liaise with other departments / divisions and with executive
management to render professional assistance.
➢ Monitor the performance of the subordinates and initiate motivational effort.
➢ Liaise with relevant outside agencies to coordinate on loss prevention matters.
➢ Represent the department to discuss relevant issues in various meetings within the company.
➢ Maintain required record keeping system and provide adequate documentation on
occupational monitoring activities.
➢ Ensure safety of workers, materials, equipment and healthy environment and maintain the safe
working condition on site.
➢ Conduct safety meeting held by Project Management where safety is the main agenda.
➢ Take part in client driven safety walk-through/ audit.
➢ Responsible for maintaining and implementing company’s Safety manual.
➢ Conduct Orientation and trainings to concerned employees such as HAZCOM, work at height,
Crane operation, Fire watch, Flag man, Confined space entrant/attendant, PTW system, Fire
prevention etc.
➢ Review the Safe Work Procedures and advise the personnel for adherence.
➢ Maintain the MSDS of various chemicals in use and advise the associated work force regarding
the handling and storage.
➢ Maintain the certifications of the personnel executing, rigging, scaffolding, entry attendants,
equipment operators etc.

Pay: ﷼16,000.00 - ﷼20,000.00 per month
