Job Role & Responsibilities:

Hazard Management: Proactively identify and assess safety risks specific to high-rise construction, such as fall hazards, high winds, crane operations, and fire risks.

Safety Program Implementation: Develop and enforce a comprehensive safety plan, including procedures for working at height, personal protective equipment (PPE) usage, and emergency response.

Inspections and Audits: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Training: Provide safety training to all workers on site, including new hires, and conduct regular "toolbox talks" to reinforce safety practices.

Incident Investigation: Investigate accidents and "near-misses" to determine root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent future incidents.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all project activities adhere to local and international safety standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001, and Dubai Municipality regulations).
Qualifications:

Education: A bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or Industrial) or a related field like Occupational Health and Safety. A master's degree is a plus.

Experience: At least 5-7 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong preference for experience on large-scale high-rise construction projects.

Certifications: Mandatory certifications such as NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health), CSP (Certified Safety Professional), or IOSH (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health).

Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of construction safety practices, building codes, and regulations.
