Job Overview

Nurse Guard provides non-clinical safety, escort, and standby support for healthcare professionals conducting in-home visits. Our mission is to enhance staff safety, reduce risk exposure, and support visit completion through structured, professional safety services.

We are seeking a proactive and vigilant Safety Escort Specialist to ensure the safety and security of individuals within our healthcare facility. In this vital role, you will provide safe and courteous escort services for patients, visitors, and staff, helping to maintain a secure environment. Your energetic approach will foster a sense of safety and confidence, allowing everyone to focus on their well-being and care. Responsibilities

• Escort healthcare professionals to and from field sites
• Monitor access points and identify potential risks
• Conduct routine patrols of the vicinity to identify potential hazards or security issues
• Respond promptly to security concerns or incidents, coordinating with emergency responders when necessary
• Maintain a visible presence in high-traffic areas to deter inappropriate behavior and ensure safety protocols are followed
• Follow Nurse Guard risk assessment protocols
• Provide safe departure escort upon visit completion
• Complete detailed incident reports and shift logs accurately and promptly
• Communicate professionally with agency partners and Nurse Guard leadership

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Background check required
• Reliable transportation required
• Strong situational awareness
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
• Ability to stand, walk, and respond swiftly for extended periods during shifts
• A proactive attitude with a commitment to maintaining a safe environment for all individuals
• Professional demeanor and calm presence
• Ability to work independently
• Prior security, military, healthcare, or law enforcement experience preferred but not required
