Safety Manager

Job description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Investigate and report on all incidents, near misses, and safety violations.
• Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training programs for employees.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable safety standards.
• Maintain safety documentation, records, and reports for internal and regulatory review.
• Collaborate with management and supervisors to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
• Promote a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a safety management or similar role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards, environmental regulations, and risk management principles.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Certification preferred: CSP, CHST, or OSHA 30-hour (or ability to obtain).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and safety management software.
• Can relocate at Mintal, Davao City
