Safety Managr

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Safety Manager to lead and manage Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) activities for a major construction project in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring full compliance with local regulations, international safety standards, and company HSE policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and safety plans for construction activities
• Ensure compliance with Qatar Labor Law, QCS, and international standards (ISO 45001)
• Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits
• Lead accident/incident investigations and prepare detailed reports
• Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and HSE training programs
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Consultants, and Sub-contractors
• Maintain HSE documentation, permits, and statutory records
• Promote a strong safety culture across all site personnel
• Liaise with clients and regulatory authorities on safety matters

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Safety, or a related field
• NEBOSH IGC (Mandatory); NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Minimum 14 years of construction safety experience, including GCC/Qatar projects
• Strong knowledge of construction safety practices and risk management
• Excellent communication, leadership, and reporting skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple site activities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR11,000.00 - QAR12,000.00 per month
