Safety Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and proactive Corporate Safety Officer to oversee and implement safety policies across our organization. The ideal candidate will hold a B.Tech degree and possess strong knowledge of safety management systems, risk assessments, and compliance with statutory safety regulations. This role involves ensuring a safe working environment, promoting a culture of safety awareness, and minimizing workplace hazards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor corporate safety policies and procedures in compliance with statutory requirements.
• Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments across all departments and facilities.
• Identify potential hazards and recommend preventive measures to management.
• Organize safety training programs and workshops for employees and contractors.
• Investigate and report incidents, near-misses, and accidents, and prepare corrective and preventive action plans.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations and corporate safety standards.
• Maintain records of safety inspections, training, and incident reports.
• Collaborate with project and operations teams to integrate safety practices into daily activities.
• Liaise with government agencies and external auditors during safety inspections.
• Continuously monitor and improve workplace safety culture across the organization.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: B.Tech in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Industrial, Environmental, or related engineering discipline.
• Experience: 2–5 years of experience in safety management, preferably in manufacturing, construction, or corporate environments.
• Certifications (Preferred): NEBOSH / IOSH / OSHA certification.
• Knowledge of: ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety Management System), risk management, and emergency preparedness.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication, training, and leadership skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and safety documentation.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
