SAFETY OFFICER

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree (Preferably Engineering/ Science Stream) /Equivalent or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or any discipline.

Technical Qualifications:

• Qatar Energy LNG Approved
• Should have valid RLIC Gate/Security Pass for Gate No.1, 2, 26, 28, 29 & 3
• NEBOSH IGC is mandatory
• NEBOSH Level-6 / CSP/ NVQ Level-6/ OTHM (Added advantage)
• OSHA-36 hours Construction Safety. (Added advantage)

Knowledge & Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a HSEQ / SHE&S professional
• Nebosh IGC certified (complete papers)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in the Oil & Gas, HSE management of engineering, construction and commissioning projects, systems completions coordination, hook up/commissioning, and start up activities in brownfield and greenfield environment
• Minimum 3 years in Oil& gas brown filed experience for shutdown job.
• Experience in implementation of HSE management systems in a new project construction and start up
• Experience in active participation of workers’ welfare programs
• Experience in providing Safety Leadership to workforce to drive proactive safety culture and Safety KPIs
• Support knowledge in accident investigation process and methodology

Technical & Business Skills:

• Good organizational, communication, and supervisory skills
• Good knowledge of written and spoken English with the ability to produce daily, weekly & monthly reports
• Good knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Other Requirements:

• Valid QID & Passport (at least 6 months valid)
• Qatar Driving Licence (Plus point)
• Can join immediately

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR4,500.00 - QAR4,700.00 per month
