Safety Officer

We are looking for a qualified and proactive Safety Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure that all safety regulations and procedures are implemented and followed at the workplace. The Safety Officer will be responsible for monitoring site activities, conducting inspections, and promoting a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies across the site.
• Conduct daily site inspections and identify potential hazards.
• Ensure compliance with UAE safety regulations and company guidelines.
• Prepare and maintain safety reports, incident reports, and documentation.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety training sessions for workers.
• Monitor use of PPE and ensure all workers follow safety protocols.
• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and subcontractors on safety matters.
• Investigate accidents/near misses and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist in preparing risk assessments and method statements (RAMS).

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• NEBOSH IGC or equivalent safety certification .
• Minimum 2–5 years experience as a Safety Officer in construction (UAE experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of UAE safety regulations and HSE standards.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple site activities.
