Safety Officer

Safety Officer shall be responsible for:

· Guiding site management in the effective implementation of the HSE plan.

· Arranging and participating in the HSE-meeting at the Project / Companies with site production / Execution team and all sub-contractor’s management,

· Addressing weekly HSE-meeting for all employees.

· Conducting project inspections.

· Participating in HSE-Audits.

· Keeping site management informed of the latest HSE requirement.

· Shall provide assistance and hand holding to the Drivers, Operators and Plant workforce for implementation of the HSE plan, and ERP.

· Maintaining safety statistics.

· Assisting management in accident investigations.

· Monitoring waste disposal is in accordance with the waste management manual requirement.

· Conducting and guiding all the emergency exercises.

· Keeping monthly records of all activities required to be carried out under the HSE plan.

· Submitting daily, weekly, and monthly records to HSE Manager at FNII Office.

· Inspecting of project’s / Company’s welfare facilities and inform to Project’s / Company’s Manager if any change required,

Shall be accountable for:

· To ensure fulfill the requirements of the HSE Policy and contract HSE plan in the advisory capacity.

· Coordinate the safety activities between the Client and Project team,

· Report all incidents, injury treatment & lost time record to Project Manager / Company Manager and FNI HSE Manager

· Report to Project Manager / Company Manager any concerns that exist regarding safety performance at project / company and client premises,

· Reports and investigates all near misses, incidents, and accidents.

· Organizes and coordinates internal education and training on safety related topics.

· Organize the periodic safety committee meeting.

· Ensures the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) complies with all standards, codes and regulations as required by law.

· Ensures that safety equipment (incl. Fire-Fighting equipment) is always ready for use, monitors, expiry dates and inspection of requirements.

· Organizes health care and medical control on employees including contribution to first aid and urgent medical care in case of work-related injuries.

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
