Safety Officer

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Safety Officer to join our team for ongoing infrastructure and water network development projects.

Location: Sharjah

Experience Required: Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in infrastructure and water network development

Availability: Immediate joiners preferred

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, implement, and enforce Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures on-site.

- Conduct daily site inspections and identify potential hazards or unsafe practices.

- Ensure compliance with UAE safety regulations and international HSE standards.

- Prepare and maintain safety documentation, risk assessments, method statements, and incident reports.

- Conduct safety induction and regular training for workers and subcontractors.

- Investigate accidents or near-misses and implement corrective actions.

- Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and site supervisors to ensure safety integration in all activities.

- Monitor use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure availability.

- Liaise with authorities and clients during safety audits and inspections.- Promote a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.

- Certified in NEBOSH IGC / OSHA / IOSH or equivalent.

- Strong knowledge of infrastructure and utility project safety.

- Excellent communication, observation, and reporting skills.

- Proficient in preparing HSE reports and documentation.
