Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor health & safety policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with local safety laws, regulations, and company standards
  • Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments
  • Identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective actions
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses and prepare reports
  • Conduct safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs
  • Ensure proper use of PPE and safety equipment
  • Maintain safety records, permits, and documentation
  • Coordinate with management, supervisors, and external safety agencies
  • Assist during emergency situations and drills (fire, evacuation, first aid)

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Safety, Engineering, or related field
  • Certified Safety Officer (NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of occupational health & safety standards
  • Excellent observation, communication, and reporting skills
  • Ability to enforce safety rules firmly and fairly

Experience

  • 2–6 years of relevant safety experience (industry-dependent)

Reporting To

  • HSE Manager / Plant Manager / Project Manager

Working Conditions

  • Site-based role with exposure to industrial or construction environments
  • May require shift work or extended hours during emergencies

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
