Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor health & safety policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with local safety laws, regulations, and company standards
- Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments
- Identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective actions
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses and prepare reports
- Conduct safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs
- Ensure proper use of PPE and safety equipment
- Maintain safety records, permits, and documentation
- Coordinate with management, supervisors, and external safety agencies
- Assist during emergency situations and drills (fire, evacuation, first aid)
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Safety, Engineering, or related field
- Certified Safety Officer (NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent preferred)
- Strong knowledge of occupational health & safety standards
- Excellent observation, communication, and reporting skills
- Ability to enforce safety rules firmly and fairly
Experience
- 2–6 years of relevant safety experience (industry-dependent)
Reporting To
- HSE Manager / Plant Manager / Project Manager
Working Conditions
- Site-based role with exposure to industrial or construction environments
- May require shift work or extended hours during emergencies
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
