Department: QHSE / Operations

Job Purpose

To ensure safe day-to-day operations across steel fabrication, manufacturing, and coating facilities by actively monitoring shopfloor practices, enforcing compliance, and supporting HSE systems implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily safety inspections and report deviations
• Assist in risk assessments and job safety analysis.
• Investigate incidents and support root cause analysis.
• Ensure compliance with HSE procedures and certifications
• Support audits and maintain basic HSE documentation and reporting.
• Monitor waste handling and environmental controls
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety inductions
• Enforce PPE and safe work practices
• Willing to challenge unsafe practices.
• Accountability for closing actions.

Specific Knowledge/Skills

• Strong shopfloor presence (must be visible)
• Ability to identify unsafe acts quickly and intervene
• Conduct effective toolbox talks
• Attention to detail
• Good communication with workers
• Ability to handle multiple sites.

Experience & Education requirements

• Degree / Diploma in Engineering
• 1-2 years of UAE experience in a manufacturing / industrial environment.
• NEBOSH IGC or equivalent
