Safety Officer

Al Mamary is a UAE-based specialist façade and skylight contractor with 30+ years in the industry and 500+ delivered projects across the GCC. We are actively executing landmark skylight and structural glazing scopes including Palm Jebel Ali Community Mall (Dubai), and multiple Abu Dhabi developments. We are hiring a Safety Officer to lead HSE across our active sites in both emirates.

**Responsibilities**

• Daily site HSE supervision for skylight, structural glazing, and façade installation — including extensive work at height
• Implement and maintain HSE plans aligned with Dubai Municipality, OSHAD, and main contractor (McLaren and equivalent) requirements
• Conduct risk assessments, review method statements, deliver toolbox talks, investigate incidents
• Issue and verify permits-to-work — working at heights, hot work, lifting operations
• Coordinate with main contractor HSE teams, consultants (WSP, LOCI, Atkins Realis), and authorities (DM, OSHAD, DCD)
• Maintain HSE documentation, training records, and inspection logs ready for audit
• Deliver workforce inductions and drive continuous improvement on site

**Mandatory qualifications**

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field
• NEBOSH IGC
• Dubai Municipality HSE Officer Approval (registered, current)
• OSHAD Practitioner Registration (for Abu Dhabi work)
• Working at Heights certification
• First Aid & CPR certified

**Preferred**

• IOSH Managing Safely
• Scaffolding Inspector training
• Rope access awareness (façade context)
• Fire Warden training (DCD jurisdictions)

**Experience**

• Minimum 5 years GCC construction HSE experience
• Demonstrable background in façade, skylight, structural glazing, or steel structures
• Proven safety leadership on work-at-height scopes
• Experience interfacing with tier-1 main contractors
