Safety Officer

Position: Safety Officer

Location: Dubai, UAE

Al Hikma Building Contracting L.L.C. is seeking to hire an experienced Safety Officer to join its construction team.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of HSE/Safety experience in the UAE.
• Mandatory experience with a Main Contractor in construction projects.
• Valid NEBOSH Certification (IGC or equivalent).
• Valid IOSH Certification.
• Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations, construction safety standards, and best practices.
• Experience in conducting site safety inspections, risk assessments, toolbox talks, and incident investigations.
• Ability to prepare safety reports and maintain HSE records and documentation.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with Company HSE policies, project requirements, and applicable UAE regulations.
• Conduct regular site safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
• Monitor implementation of safe work practices and corrective actions.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness programs.
• Prepare risk assessments and support the implementation of control measures.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions and prepare relevant reports.
• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and subcontractors on HSE matters.
• Maintain HSE records, reports, permits, and compliance documentation.
