We are looking for a qualified and experienced Safety Officer to join our fit-out and joinery team in the UAE.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of UAE experience in fit-out and joinery projects.
- Experience working on interior fit-out sites, joinery factories, and refurbishment projects.
- Valid safety certifications, such as:
- NEBOSH IGC
- IOSH Managing Safely/Working Safely
- First Aid Certificate
- Fire Safety Training Certificate
- Good knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and safety requirements.
- Ability to conduct site inspections, risk assessments, safety inductions, and toolbox talks.
- Experience in preparing HSE reports and maintaining safety records and documentation.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Immediate joiners only.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and enforce health and safety standards across fit-out sites and joinery factory operations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and identify unsafe acts and conditions.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to safe work practices.
- Carry out risk assessments and implement preventive and corrective actions.
- Conduct safety inductions and daily toolbox talks for workers and subcontractors.
- Investigate incidents and prepare reports with recommendations.
- Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, and clients on HSE matters.
- Ensure compliance with client, consultant, and regulatory safety requirements.
