Safety Officer-Fitout

NEED SAFETY OFFICER preferably with working knowledge

Responsibilities

Monitor implementation of all related HSE procedures, plans and policies at site.

Working experience in Duty free projects .

Working knowledge about various mall permits .

Monitor the safety performance of all the workers to ensure that all workers work in a safe manner.

Encourage and educate employees to take precautions and adhere to safety rules to protect themselves and the equipment they use from damage

Identify and review various hazards in working area and troubleshoot it, ensure y risk assessments are being conducted as per company policy.

Conduct HSE toolbox talks and trainings on regular basis.

Update and display safety policies and pertinent information on the company bulletin board.

Assist injured workers in obtaining Modified Duties and administer the return to work policy.

Look after basic maintenance of machines, workshops with best available resources.

Establishing inspection schedules for all tools, major equipment, lifting devices and mobile equipment to ensure safe operating conditions and compliance with current regulations

Education, Knowledge, skills and Experience

Minimum 4 years of experience as Safety Officer on Manufacturing industry

Bachelor's degree & IOSH, OSHA advantage

Have a good level of physical fitness and stamina, be able to cope under pressure

Must have the ability to keep confidential information

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month

• Dubai airport/Duty free approval (Preferred)
