Safety Officer fromConstruction Background

We are looking for a Safety Officer, at least 5- 7 Years of work experience in the UAE in the Construction Background.

Safety Officer Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.
• Ensure compliance with local safety regulations and company standards.
• Investigate incidents, near-misses, and accidents; prepare reports and recommend corrective actions.
• Lead toolbox talks, safety meetings, and awareness programs for staff and workers.
• Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors to enforce safety protocols.
• Maintain safety documentation, permits, and incident records.
• Train and mentor junior safety officers and site personnel.
• Prepare and submit daily/weekly safety reports to management.
• Ensure availability and proper use of PPE and safety equipment.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and provide guidance on corrective measures.

Safety Officer Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in construction or industrial safety (UAE experience preferred).
• NEBOSH IGC / IOSH / OSHA certification or equivalent is mandatory
• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, risk assessment, and incident investigation
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to train, supervise, and motivate site personnel.
• Ability to work on site with multicultural teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
