Safety Officers

We are looking for a qualified and proactive Safety Officer to ensure a safe working environment at construction sites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing health and safety regulations, conducting inspections, and promoting a strong safety culture among all employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce workplace health and safety standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments.
• Identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations.
• Conduct safety inductions and toolbox talks.
• Investigate accidents and incidents and prepare reports.
• Maintain safety records and documentation.
• Ensure workers use proper PPE at all times.
• Coordinate emergency response procedures and drills.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field.
• NEBOSH IGC or equivalent safety certification is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of construction safety experience.
• Knowledge of HSE regulations and risk assessment procedures.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to prepare reports and maintain documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
