RATE OF PAY WILL COMMENSURATE WITH EXPERIENCE
Summary: Sells whole goods equipment, assists parts and service when needed, represents and promotes the sales department in a positive manner and maximizes profits. Also, coordinates activities and cooperates with other departments to best serve the customer.
Essential Traits, Duties and Responsibilities:
Bilingual a plus
One-plus year sales experience
Call on existing and develop new customers.
Keep a friendly and cheerful outlook.
Assure all documents associated with the sales of whole goods are properly and fully completed.
Stay current with manufacturer changes, programs and finance plans for equipment.
Attend company, store and/or community functions that will benefit the dealership.
Develop and maintain relationships with purchasing contacts and potential customers.
Ensure display and demonstration equipment are clean and mechanically sound.
Follow up with customers after the sale.
Stay current with used equipment values.
Assist with field demonstrations, tradeshows and conventions as needed.
Maintain company manuals, pricing lists and other documents in a professional manner.
Arrive on time for appointments with customers and meetings.
Set daily, weekly and yearly personal goals.
Dress professionally every day. Treat customers and co-workers in a friendly and courteous manner. Avoid allowing personal affairs to interfere with professional activities.
