Account Manager Job Description
The Sales Account Manager(SAM) is responsible for building/maintaining a base of physician clients in order to achieve/exceed sales results in the assigned area. Specifically, the SAM assures profitable sales growth of FEI where knowledge of Endovascular procedures is the primary focus within the assigned area.
Knowledge and Critical Skills/Expertise
*Demonstrate “consultative selling skills'' experience.
*Demonstrate ability to understand complex medical terminology, topics & articulate well.
*Demonstrate verbal, written and presentation skills.
*Self-starter, attention to detail, team player
*Position Requirements (Education, Experience, Licensure/Certifications)
*Bachelor''s degree or equivalent required
*2-5 years sales experience with demonstrated consultative selling skills
*Proficient in common office applications, e.g. Excel.
Plus:
oDemonstrate analytical skills; capacity to use workflow tools and salesforce automation
oExperience in virtual customer engagement, e.g. telephone,
oHealthcare services
oClinical / Surgical (particularly Podiatry or primary care physicians)
Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities
1.Improve and expand clinical utility perception of company''s product and services with current and prospective customers through telephone and other virtual engagement methods.
2.Interacts with customers (physicians, physician staff, and patients) and company colleagues in a positive manner consistent with the mission and values of FEI.
3.Improve the company''s growth by using consultative selling techniques in a compliant manner that expands referrals and acquires new customers (within defined territory or as assigned). Unless assigned otherwise, current focus is as follows: client growth expansion (Existing Customers) / Customer acquisition and expansion (''Field'' geographies)
Coordinated commercial activity with Field Sales, Marketing director , Clinical and other functions as assigned.
4.Prioritizing daily activities (effective pre-call and post call planning) in order to have efficient/productive selling/service interactions.
5.Is fully knowledgeable on complete endovascular menu of services and outpatient advantages offering.
6.Able to explain the value of avoiding hospitalization and in-office evaluation treatment and follow up for the betterment of patient care, along with clinical knowledge, benefits and ability to close.
7.Understands and fully utilizes all analytics, tools and processes offered by company to effectively execute commercial activity to the highest efficacy, e.g. Salesforce.com, Patient/physician tracking log and Analytics, etc.
8.Communicates with direct supervisor on a regular basis and responds to requests immediately.
9.Operates within established expense budgets and guidelines.
10.May attend some state, regional, and national trade shows as applicable. When at medical conference, assures marketing procedures are carried out for effective tradeshow performance.
11.Monitors competitive activity and trends within the area. Assesses and concisely communicates to accountable leaders the competitive activity in terms of context, impact and if relevant possible responses.
12.Operates within all established company policies and compliance guidelines.
Working Conditions
Office/Field based - travel on daily basis will be required. valid FL driver’s license, car insurance.
Mileage Reimbursement will be provided.
