Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Account Manager to join our esteemed organization. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth through the acquisition of new clients and the cultivation of strong, long-term relationships with existing clients. Your primary focus will be identifying new business opportunities, developing customized solutions, and closing deals within the competitive IT market, with a particular emphasis on the government sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify new business opportunities, including emerging markets, growth areas, trends, customers, products, and services.
  • Research and target key decision-makers and organizations in relevant industries to expand our client base.
  • Drive lead generation through strategic cold calling, networking, and meetings, both in-person and virtually.
  • Understand client needs, and develop tailored solutions to address business challenges and drive growth.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive business strategies aimed at achieving long-term growth objectives.
  • Oversee the execution of sales strategies, ensuring alignment with the company’s goals and market opportunities.
  • Manage the end-to-end process of client contract negotiation, from initial discussions to final agreement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all client requirements are met, and contracts are executed in compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Lead the process from pre-tendering to tender submission, including handling RFPs, PDCs, and product demos.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on proposals and manage relationships throughout the tendering process to maximize business opportunities.
  • Maintain clear and ongoing communication with clients, ensuring seamless project execution and satisfaction.
  • Coordinate internally with project teams to ensure successful delivery of products/services and timely resolution of client concerns.
  • Develop comprehensive business plans and proposals in response to client and management requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and market needs.
  • Manage client accounts throughout the sales cycle, from order booking to payment collection, and liaise with the Finance Department to ensure accurate reporting and timely payments.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and innovations, offering clients the most relevant IT solutions.
  • Work closely with the marketing department to develop and execute promotional strategies to enhance brand presence in both cities.
  • Represent the company at seminars, conferences, and other industry events, fostering relationships and identifying new opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 7+ years of proven track record in B2B sales, with a strong emphasis on the IT industry in UAE (Dubai is a plus).
  • Demonstrated success in client acquisition, contract negotiations, and account management.
  • Strong understanding of IT products and services, including software solutions, cloud computing, cybersecurity, digital transformation, and AI.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage clients at all levels and build strong, lasting relationships.
  • A results-oriented mindset with a proven ability to exceed sales targets and drive revenue growth.
  • Highly motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple projects and priorities across both cities.
  • In-depth knowledge of the business landscapes, regulatory environments, and client expectations in Abu Dhabi, particularly in the government sector.
  • Fluency in English.
