POSITION: SALES REPRESENTATIVE – OFF PREMISE & NON-ALCOHOL SALES

OVERVIEW: Market and manage Arkansas Beverage Sales products within an assigned territory, servicing specific accounts on a regular basis. Assume leadership responsibilities in sales and customer service.

SALES REPRESENTATIVE SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assume all specific job responsibilities related to the Account Manager Position, including but not limited to:
  • Insure proper rotation of product in a timely manner with the color code system, including stocking, merchandising, etc. of all products in the market
  • Knowledge of all pricing, promotions and company goals
  • Communicates to management all changes and occurrences in the market including competitive activity
  • Sell-in and maintain new and existing packages and displays
  • Dominate the market with permanent and paper point of sale
  • Maintain package integrity and quality standards in the marketplace
  • Consistently selling products to the customers in order to meet the company’s goals
  • Responsible for maintaining and improving market share
  • Responsible for the adherence to company standards, guidelines, policy and procedures
  • Assist in the proper training of Assistant Account Managers
  • Provide feedback as necessary regarding employee issues, morale, productivity, etc.
  • Oversee and maintain company equipment
  • Any other tasks as requested by management

SALES REPRESENTATIVE JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Responsible for maintaining adequate insurance coverage as determined by Arkansas Beverage Sales – employee must provide proof of adequate coverage (declarations page from personal auto insurance policy that verifies limits of liability)
  • Physical ability to complete all job tasks-repetitive lifting, bending, pulling and pushing, the ability to lift up to 40 lbs continuously, overhead
  • Willingness to work until the entire job is completed, including working in adverse weather conditions
  • Willingness to work overtime, weekends and holidays, as the company dictates
  • Complete all required Safety training
  • Complete and become certified in the ABU Selling Skills WIL training class
  • Complete all other continued training for position
  • Read, review, and be prepared to explain Arkansas Beverage Sales’ Policy Manual
  • Basic math and Computer skills
  • Strong communicative skills
  • Self motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to present yourself in a professional manner at all times
  • Attend all scheduled company and team sales meetings

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
