Overview
the Sales Administrator provides comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Sales Manager and the wider sales department. By coordinating day-to-day activities, maintaining accurate records, and facilitating clear communication across teams, the role ensures the sales function runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily Support: Assist the Sales Manager with scheduling, task tracking, and routine administrative duties.
- Team Coordination: Act as a central point of contact for the sales team, ensuring messages, deadlines, and updates are communicated promptly and accurately.
- Reporting & Analytics: Compile and distribute weekly and monthly sales reports and dashboards, highlighting key metrics and performance trends.
- Order Management: Monitor special orders and client-specific requests from initiation through fulfillment, providing timely follow-ups and status updates.
- Meeting Management: Attend sales and cross-departmental meetings, record detailed minutes, and circulate actionable items with clear deadlines.
- Inter-department Liaison: Facilitate smooth collaboration between sales, logistics, finance, and other departments to resolve issues and accelerate workflows.
- Administrative Operations: Perform accurate data entry, document preparation, database maintenance, and systematic filing (physical and digital).
- Process Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to streamline administrative processes and enhance data accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Commerce, or a related discipline.
- 1-3 years of experience in a sales support, or administrative role (experience in the textiles or B2C sector is an advantage).
- Proven ability to communicate clearly-both written and verbal-across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with CRM systems is essential.
- Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are highly regarded.
