The Sales Analytics Analyst will join a high-performing Analytics and FP&A team, reporting to the Senior Director of FP&A. This role plays a key part in evaluating the quality of leads, determining their impact on marketing costs, and helping clients optimize performance through daily data reporting and actionable insights. The position requires strong analytical acumen, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to manage large datasets across multiple departments and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Campaign Analytics
  • Analyze quality metrics within a lead generation sales model, where lead quality directly impacts marketing cost and ROI.
  • Serve as the lead for financial and operational reporting across multiple campaigns and clients.
  • Manage daily performance dashboards, support client communications, and identify trends to optimize campaign effectiveness.
  • Data Modeling & Reporting
  • Build and manage complex models in Excel and Tableau (used for 80% of reporting).
  • Create and maintain dashboards using Tableau with advanced calculations (including LODs and calculated fields).
  • Validate, troubleshoot, and analyze large data sets from Salesforce and other sources to ensure reporting accuracy.
  • Client-Facing Strategy
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to evaluate campaign performance and recommend data-driven improvements.
  • Deliver concise, actionable insights to clients, executives, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Manage reporting expectations and quality metrics across a range of lead-based programs.
  • Process Improvement & Operations
  • Oversee and enhance the commissions process; ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
  • Identify and implement new opportunities for reporting, automation, and process efficiency.
  • Help define operational and financial goals in collaboration with leadership and clients.

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in analytics, FP&A, business intelligence, or lead generation environments.
  • Expertise in Tableau Desktop (strong proficiency in LOD expressions and calculated fields required).
  • Advanced Excel modeling skills for forecasts, P&Ls, compensation structures, and scenario planning.
  • Proven experience working with complex, large-scale data environments (tens of thousands to millions of rows).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable engaging directly with clients and executives.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related discipline.
  • High attention to detail, critical thinking, and a bias toward action and ownership.

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Operates in the “middle sweet spot” between financial modeling and technical data engineering—able to generate insights, build metrics, and deliver recommendations without needing deep back-end engineering skills.
  • Highly analytical and naturally curious, with strong commercial intuition.
  • Personable, well-spoken, and proactive—comfortable in a service-oriented, client-facing setting.
  • Able to handle daily reporting demands and strategic discussions with executive stakeholders.
