Sales and Distribution Functional Lead

This role will function as a Functional Lead for sales and distribution related projects. This role should have experience in both SAP and Salesforce systems. This role will serve as a trusted advisor with business stakeholders and will lead both onsite and remote teams to deliver on high priority projects.

This role will collaborate with other functional architects (financial, supply chain, etc.) to ensure governance and best practices are adhered to.

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience and education
  • Minimum of 6 years of SD experience, with ideally 2 years S4 HANA experience.
  • 1+ full lifecycle SAP implementations
  • Experience leading onsite teams. Additional consideration is given to experience leading remote and offshore teams.
  • Experience communicating with different stakeholders to understand business requirements
  • Ability to troubleshoot and quickly identify root causes of systems issues as they relate to OTC/SD in both SAP and SFDC

Role Expectations

  • Align Sales and Distribution Processes/Systems to strategic company objectives and needs
  • Understand end to end functionality capabilities in SAP and SFDC with continuous learning approach
  • Own the design, configuration, and technical solution architecture in the areas of SAP Sales and Distribution and SFDC Manufacturing Cloud and Service Cloud for internal use, along with integrations with B2B, FICO and MM. Ability to conduct system design sessions and align to operations processes.
  • Know what’s coming from an SAP and SFDC roadmap perspective and stay tightly engaged in SAP and SFDC community to take full advantage of improvements in real time
  • Develop strong relationship with Sales and Distribution teams across all areas of the business and help connect them across division and functional lines
    • Demonstrates solutions to internal clients from C-level to end user
  • Organize, Document, Plan, and Oversee Delivery of new functionality to the business
  • Manage Vendor Project Delivery teams
  • Write requirements for technical and development teams, providing translation between business problem and technical solution
  • Test and manage system configuration
  • Know and manage all software system related to Sales and Distribution areas of SAP
  • Including but not limited to eCommerce, Digital sales, 3rd party proprietary industry software integration
  • Know and manage implementation of SAP and add-on automation tools

Desired Characteristics

  • Skills required for this role include Customer Service SFDC solutions, configuring SAP SD modules, and working with international sales and GTS
  • Experience with design thinking methodology, UX research, prototyping, and usability testing
  • Lean or Six Sigma training preferred, not required
  • Proven leadership and management experience
  • Self-led, highly organized, and clear communication skills for resolving conflicts and communicating needs
  • Comfortable running workshops and doing public presentations

Compensation

The position has a compensation package inclusive of base, bonus (if eligible), benefits, 401k contribution, time off, recognition awards and more. This salary range is $125,000-$150,000.
