Position Summary
The Sales and Marketing Coordinator is a key supporting role responsible for coordinating and executing both sales and marketing initiatives to drive brand visibility and support revenue growth. This role requires a highly organized, proactive, and creative individual who is passionate about camera gear, videography, and the creator economy.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Support & Execution (Approx. 60%)
- Content and Social Media: Assist in the planning, scheduling, and posting of content across Ulanzi's social media platforms (e.g., Instagram). Monitor engagement and respond to community inquiries.
- Campaign Coordination: Help coordinate marketing campaigns for new product launches, promotions, and seasonal events, ensuring timely execution across all relevant channels.
- Influencer & Partnership Coordination: Assist in managing outreach and communication with content creators, affiliates, and media partners for product reviews and collaborations.
- Marketing Collateral: Coordinate the development and distribution of marketing materials (e.g., digital brochures, product sheets, presentation decks) ensuring brand consistency.
Sales Coordination & Administration (Approx. 40%)
- Sales Enablement: Support the sales team by organizing and preparing sales materials, product samples, and presentations for B2B partners, distributors, and large retailers.
- Data Management: Maintain and update the data.
- Order & Logistics Support: Coordinate with internal logistics/operations teams to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of sample requests, marketing shipments, and partner orders.
- Market Research: Conduct basic market and competitive analysis to identify new sales opportunities, industry trends, and pricing strategies for Ulanzi products.
- Customer/Partner Communication: Handle routine product information inquiries from sales team.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Experience: 1-3 years of proven experience in a Sales Support, Marketing Assistant, or Coordinator role, preferably within the consumer electronics, photography, or video/content creation industry.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace.
- Familiarity with social media management platforms and analytics tools.
- Key Competencies:
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn about new marketing technologies and sales strategies.
- A passion for the video/photo gear industry and the Ulanzi brand is a significant advantage.
