Sales and Marketing Intern for a Training Institute

Location: [Remote]

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Sales and Marketing Intern to support course promotion, student enrollment, and lead generation activities. The intern will engage in marketing campaigns, outreach, follow-ups, and conversions. This internship offers real-world exposure to sales, marketing, and digital promotion in the education sector.

Roles and Responsibilities

· Promote the institute’s courses through online and offline channels.

· Generate new leads through calls, WhatsApp, email, social media, and field activities.

· Explain course features, fees, schedules, and benefits to potential students.

· Follow up on inquiries and convert leads into admissions.

· Assist in creating marketing content (posts, captions, reels, flyers).

· Support digital marketing campaigns and social media management.

· Participate in seminars, webinars, promotional events, and outreach programs.

· Maintain lead databases and track daily inquiries, follow-ups, and conversions.

· Conduct competitor analysis and market research.

· Coordinate with the sales and marketing team for planning and execution.

Skill Set Required

Sales Skills

· Strong communication and persuasion

· Ability to build rapport with students and parents

· Effective lead follow-up and closing skills

· Handling objections and converting inquiries to admissions

Marketing Skills

· Social media handling (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube)

· Basic knowledge of digital marketing and content creation

· Ability to design simple creatives using Canva or similar tools

· Understanding of customer needs and market trends

Lead Generation Skills (Added)

· Ability to identify and source potential leads from online platforms

· Experience with cold calling and outreach communication

· Generating leads through social media promotions, online forms, events, and referrals

· Managing lead pipelines using Excel or CRM tools

· Tracking, nurturing, and improving lead conversion rates

Personal Skills

· Positive attitude and willingness to learn

· Good interpersonal and customer service skills

· Time management and multitasking

· Self-motivated and target-driven

Technical Skills (Preferred)

· MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

· Basic CRM or lead management software knowledge

· Familiarity with email marketing tools

Eligibility

· Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Marketing, Business, Management, or relevant field.

· Fresher’s enthusiastic about sales and marketing are encouraged to apply.

· Prior experience in sales or lead generation is a plus.
