The TLC Sales and Marketing Leader drives guest acquisition, retention, and event revenue through consistent, proactive, trackable, and systemized outbound sales and marketing. This role is responsible for all day-to-day outbound sales efforts, event lead generation, marketing execution, reporting, content coordination, and vendor management for both the restaurant and event business.

Outbound sales experience and strong Austin-area connections are required.

This is a Full-time, on-site sales and marketing leadership position with specific accountability to sales-building results.

Responsibilities:

Outbound Sales & Lead Generation

  • Plan for and execute DAILY outbound outreach via a CRM
  • Build prospect lists (corporate, schools, concierges, local orgs)
  • Track outreach, follow-ups, and conversions
  • Respond quickly to event inquiries
  • Maintain a clean, accurate CRM

Event Sales Support

  • Build/update event menus and pricing sheets
  • Assist with event planning logistics and timelines
  • Manage client communication until operational handoff
  • Execute clean handoff to FOH/management

Vendor & Agency Management

  • Serve as point of contact for SEO team, Happy Media, and marketing vendors
  • Ensure all content and campaigns are delivered accurately and on time

Reporting & Analytics

  • Track weekly/monthly marketing performance
  • Report on lead pipeline, social/email metrics, event inquiries, and ROI
  • Review third-party spend and performance

Marketing & Digital

  • Build and schedule Toast email/SMS campaigns
  • Manage Google, Yelp, OpenTable, Rewards Network and delivery platforms
  • Coordinate social content and production with vendor
  • Update website menus, events, pop-ups, and landing pages
  • Maintain in-house marketing materials (app cards, table tents, QR codes)

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of outbound sales experience (email/DM outreach, cold outreach, pipeline management)
  • Strong connections or familiarity with the Austin market
  • Experience with CRM tools
  • Experience managing digital marketing platforms and vendors (including SEO)
  • Strong communication, writing, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Ability to work onsite at TLC Austin with a reliable source of transportation
  • Experience with Toast, OpenTable, Google Business, and Yelp
  • Experience with CRM tools such as Hubspot, Apollo AI, etc
  • Experience with Triple Seat, EventUp, Canva

Success Indicators (KPIs)

  • Increased transaction count YoY
  • Increased event inquiries and event revenue
  • Improved Loyalty Program participation
  • Growing email/SMS engagement
  • Growth in reservation business through 3rd party vendors (ex. Open Table)
  • Clean, complete event handoff to operations
  • Accurate weekly reporting to senior director team and ownership

Compensation

$50,000-$60,000 base with event commission bookings

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
