Job Opportunity: Sales & Procurement Engineer
Location: Islamabad, Pakistan (on-site)
Full-time | Monday – Friday (08:00 AM – 04:30 PM)
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing and potential clients.
- Attend client meetings, site visits, and technical discussions (including outside office hours if required).
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations, proposals, and quotations in coordination with principals and management.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure long-term satisfaction.
- Procurement & Vendor Management
- Source materials, spare parts, and equipment from local and international suppliers.
- Request quotations, evaluate technical/commercial offers, and negotiate terms with vendors.
- Prepare purchase orders, coordinate with finance/logistics, and ensure timely deliveries.
- Maintain updated vendor databases, pricing, and supply agreements.
Technical & Commercial Support
- Review datasheets, technical documents, and specifications for compliance with client requirements.
- Provide input on budgeting, cost estimation, and proposal development.
- Support preparation of tender submissions, bids, and contract documentation.
Coordination & Reporting
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams for smooth project execution.
- Prepare weekly/monthly reports on sales, procurement, and ongoing projects.
- Assist management in achieving sales targets and improving procurement efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Chemical Engineering
- 01-02 years of relevant experience in sales, procurement, or supply chain (industrial/engineering sector preferred).
- Strong technical understanding of engineering products and specifications.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of ERP/SAP will be an advantage.
