Sales and Purchasing Administrative Assistant

POSITION SUMMARY

Perform a variety of clerical and administrative activities to support the Sales Manager. Responsible for the smooth flow of information and follow-up. Maintain price lists and project documentation. Oversee new model event part and prototype delivery.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

· Answer customers' questions about products, prices and schedules.

· 50% of time working in Sales, 50% in Purchasing.

· Assist with quotation process and sales activity.

· Assist with required documentation and reporting to both external and internal customers.

· Assist with the preparation of request for quotes, estimates, and schedules that meet specific customer needs.

· Assist with presentations and demonstrations.

· Perform administrative duties, such as preparing sales budgets and reports, keeping sales records, and filing expense account reports.

· Answers telephone calls, convey messages, and monitor flow of e-mails.

· Assist with new business facilitation

· Assist with new model facilitation

· Assist with new model event parts and prototype parts delivery.

· Oversee the activity to expedite event parts internally and also externally with sub-suppliers.

· Assist with new model parts control and tooling schedules.

· Maintain Price List for Event Parts, Prototype Parts, Child Parts, and Mass Production Parts.

· Participate in Continuous Improvement and 5-S activity.

· Other duties as assigned.

Pay: From $19.40 per hour
