MISAR TRADING CO LLC is one of the leading importers and suppliers of building materials, electrical, and plumbing products in the UAE. We serve contractors, retailers, and project clients with wide range of quality products and reliable service. We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Sales Assistant to support our sales operations. The ideal candidate will assist customers, coordinate with the sales team, manage basic documentation, and help ensure smooth day-to-day sales activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist customers by understanding their requirements and recommending suitable products
- Support the sales team in preparing quotations, sales orders, and invoices
- Handle walk-in customers and telephone/email inquiries professionally
- Maintain proper records of sales transactions and customer details
- Coordinate with the warehouse for stock availability and timely delivery
- Follow up with customers on orders, payments, and deliveries
- Ensure proper display and organization of products in the showroom/shop
- Handle basic complaints and escalate issues to senior sales staff when required
- Maintain good relationships with existing customers and support in generating repeat business
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum high school diploma, bachelor’s degree is an advantage
- 1–3 years of experience in sales or customer service (preferably in building materials, electrical, or plumbing trading)
- Good communication skills in English (Arabic, Hindi, or Malayalam is an advantage)
- Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Email)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Customer-oriented attitude with good negotiation skills
- Knowledge of UAE market and trading environment is preferred
