Sales Assistant – Capti

Capti is growing, and we’re looking for a motivated Sales Assistant to join our team! This is an ideal role for someone passionate about education technology and eager to build a career in sales development and account management. It’s also a great stepping stone toward a future Sales Executive position.

What You’ll Do

As a Sales Assistant at Capti, you’ll play an essential role in supporting our sales operations, outreach, and customer engagement. You’ll help us connect with schools, educators, and administrators who can benefit from our literacy and assessment solutions—and have the opportunity to manage smaller sales independently.

Responsibilities

  • Support the sales team with lead research, outreach, and follow-up tasks
  • Manage inbound and outbound communication with school districts and educators
  • Qualify leads via email and phone
  • Maintain and update CRM data (HubSpot or similar systems)
  • Schedule demos, manage sales calendars, and track outreach activities
  • Prepare sales presentations, proposals, and quotes
  • Assist with marketing initiatives such as email campaigns
  • Provide administrative support to the Sales and Customer Success teams

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and self-motivation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively on a small team
  • Familiarity with CRM tools, email marketing software, or similar platforms
  • Enthusiasm for building relationships and connecting with people
  • Bonus: Interest or experience in EdTech or K–12 education
