Sales Assistant

Position Summary
Carolina Skiff is seeking a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Sales Assistant to support our fast-paced sales department. This position is primarily an in-house role that serves as a critical link between our outside sales representatives, dealer network, and internal sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing and documenting boat orders, ensuring accurate communication of order details, assisting with dealer development efforts, and providing outstanding support to to our dealer network.
As the individual grows within the role and gains product knowledge, opportunities may arise to represent Carolina Skiff at dealer visits, industry events, and boat shows.

Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience
· Sales experience, particularly in a business-to-business (B2B) environment, is strongly preferred. Candidates should be comfortable building relationships, prospecting new dealer opportunities, and supporting sales growth initiatives.
· High school diploma or equivalent required
· Previous experience in sales support, customer service, administrative support, or a related field preferred.
· Proficiency with computers and Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Professional demeanor and strong customer service mindset.
· Comfortable making outbound prospecting and cold calls.
· Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
· Quick learner with a willingness to gain knowledge of Carolina Skiff products and the marine industry.

This individual will play an important role in supporting Carolina Skiff's continued growth and maintaining the high level of service our dealers expect.
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
