Sales Assistant – Metal Industries

Morshedi is a high-tech metal fabrication company specializing in laser cutting of beams, tubes, and sheets.
We are looking for a Sales Assistant to support our sales operations and RFQ handling.

This is a hands-on, technical support role, not a managerial position. The role will work closely with the Founder to handle daily sales execution, quotations, and client follow-ups.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and organize RFQs from email, WhatsApp, and website
• Perform initial RFQ screening (scope, minimum order, missing info)
• Assist in preparing quotations for laser cutting and fabrication jobs
• Coordinate with engineering and operations teams for feasibility and lead time
• Follow up on sent quotations and maintain RFQ/quotation records
• Prepare weekly sales activity reports
• Support client communication and documentation
• Payment Collection follow ups
• Other ad-hoc task

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Industrial Engineering (preferred)
• 1–4 years experience in metal fabrication, laser cutting, or industrial services
• Ability to read and understand basic technical drawings
• Organized, detail-oriented, and disciplined
• Good communication skills (English required)
• Comfortable with Excel, email, WhatsApp, and ERP systems (Odoo)
• UAE experience is a plus but not mandatory

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 24 months
