Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Sales Assistant to support our Top Drive parts and drilling equipment division. The role is responsible for delivering excellent customer service, assisting customers with product selection, and ensuring smooth day-to-day sales operations. This position focuses on maximizing sales opportunities, maintaining accurate documentation, and coordinating across internal departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries for Top Drive components including TDS series, Varco, Canrig, Tesco, and other OEM/aftermarket parts
- Prepare detailed quotations including pricing, availability, and delivery terms
- Follow up on open quotations and convert opportunities into confirmed sales orders
- Process order entries, reservations, and sales confirmations in the ERP system
- Provide customers with regular updates regarding order status, shipping schedules, and lead times
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams to ensure on-time delivery
- Support field service teams on rebuilds, inspections, and Top Drive recertification projects
- Maintaining accurate documentation and coordinating across internal departments.
Skills & Experience
- Knowledge of Top Drive systems and parts is a strong advantage
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
- Strong computer literacy
- Customer-focused attitude with strong teamwork and independent working capability
Education
Technical diploma or bachelor’s degree preferred
