As a key member of our sales team, you will serve as the primary point of contact, processing sales orders in person, over the phone, and via email. A core responsibility is to provide customers with the highest standard of product knowledge and expertise, guiding them through their shopping journey to find the perfect products.
This role also involves proactively generating and pursuing sales leads, maintaining strong client relationships, and demonstrating proficiency with our CRM software. Your energy and communication skills will be crucial in driving sales and creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat business.

Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products, answering questions, and making informed purchasing decisions.
- Conduct engaging product demos to showcase features and benefits, enhancing the customer’s understanding and interest.
- Operate our POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling, credit card processing, and receipts.
- Upsell related products or accessories to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking efforts to promote featured items and seasonal promotions.
- Ensure shelves are well-stocked, organized, and tidy by performing regular stocking duties and inventory checks.
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or taking orders remotely.
- Manage retail math accurately for transactions, discounts, and returns to ensure precise cash handling.
- Assist with supervising team members during busy periods or as assigned, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service by listening actively, resolving issues promptly, and building lasting relationships.
- Support store operations by adhering to safety standards, following company policies, and maintaining cleanliness.
Skills
- Proven experience with POS systems and cash handling procedures in a retail or grocery store setting.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively in both person and over the phone.
- Demonstrated ability to perform retail math accurately for sales transactions and inventory management.
- Experience conducting product demos that highlight features and benefits convincingly.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
