Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to enhance their shopping experience
• Assist customers in selecting products, offering detailed product demonstrations when needed
• Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
• Upsell related products and accessories to maximize sales opportunities
• Maintain attractive merchandise displays through effective merchandising and stocking practices
• Manage inventory levels by restocking shelves and organizing stockroom supplies efficiently
• Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone inquiries or orders
• Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits, encouraging informed purchasing decisions

Experience

• Previous retail sales experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a customer-first attitude are essential
• Supervising experience is a plus, especially in leading small teams or training new staff members
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic retail math ensures smooth transactions
• Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively
• Strong communication skills are necessary for engaging with customers, team members, and management
• Experience in grocery store environments or similar retail settings will be advantageous
• Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
