Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products or services that suit their needs
- Process sales transactions accurately using cash handling, cashiering, and retail math skills
- Provide information on financial services, including basic loan processing and banking options when applicable
- Maintain cash management procedures, ensuring secure handling of cash and electronic payments
- Support inventory management by organizing stock, restocking shelves, and conducting periodic audits
- Deliver outstanding customer service by answering questions, resolving concerns, and guiding customers through their shopping experience
- Utilize financial software and perform 10 key typing tasks efficiently to complete transactions and record sales data
Requirements
- Prior experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are essential
- Basic math skills, including retail math, are necessary for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
- Knowledge of banking or financial services is a plus to assist with loan processing or financial product inquiries
- Ability to operate cash registers, POS systems, and financial software with accuracy and efficiency
- Strong communication skills to engage with diverse customers confidently
- Attention to detail for cash handling, cashiering, and inventory management tasks
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically active duties throughout shifts
