Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products or services that meet their needs
• Engage customers through active listening, understanding their preferences, and offering tailored solutions
• Process transactions accurately using cash handling, cashiering, and cash management procedures
• Support banking-related functions such as basic loan processing, deposits, withdrawals, and account inquiries
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of retail products, financial services, and promotional offers to inform customer choices
• Handle retail math calculations confidently for pricing, discounts, and cash register balancing
• Utilize financial software systems for transaction processing and record keeping
• Ensure compliance with cash handling policies and perform regular cash reconciliation at shift end

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail sales or customer service roles, preferably within banking or financial services environments
• Strong understanding of basic math skills including retail math and 10-key typing proficiency
• Excellent communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Ability to handle cash accurately and perform cash management tasks efficiently
• Familiarity with financial software applications is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to process loans or financial transactions is advantageous
• Ability to work flexible hours in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
