Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance to enhance their shopping experience
• Operate the POS system efficiently for sales transactions, cash handling, and receipts
• Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities
• Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked and organized
• Assist with inventory management, including stocking, merchandising, and inventory counts
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, offering recommendations, and resolving concerns
• Uphold phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely

Requirements

• Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar environments
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively
• Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs
• Experience with POS systems, cash handling, and retail math calculations
• Supervising experience is advantageous for leadership opportunities within the team
• Ability to perform basic math for transactions and inventory management accurately
• Knowledge of merchandising standards and stock replenishment procedures
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, proactive approach
