Sales Associate

We are seeking an energetic and motivated Sales Associate to join our team! In this role, you will be the friendly face that greets customers, provides expert guidance on products, and creates a welcoming shopping experience. Your enthusiasm and customer-focused attitude will drive sales and foster long-term relationships with clients.

As one would expect, cash handling, fuel transactions, cleaning, and stocking are part of the role with some foodservice duties. Cashier, customer service, retail or food service experience is preferred. If you have a positive attitude and are eager to learn, Kingsville Food Mart might be for you!

Duties:

• Greet and engage with customers in-store drive-thru
• Assist customers with retail sales transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring satisfaction
• Process financial transactions accurately using retail math skills and financial software systems
• Manage cash registers, perform cash management duties, and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed
• Maintain a clean, organized sales floor and stock shelves to create an inviting shopping environment

Skills:

• Proven experience in retail sales or customer service roles
• Strong math skills, including basic math, retail math, and proficiency with 10 key typing
• Excellent communication skills to effectively assist customers and interact with team
• Ability to handle cash accurately and perform cashiering duties confidently
• Familiarity with common gas station/convenience store products
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
