Sales Associate – Job Description

We are a successful Wood Flooring company committed to evolve and excel in our industry. We currently have 6 retail locations, Boynton Beach, Palm Beach Gardens, Fort Lauderdale, Coconut Creek, Stuart and Boca Raton and we service from Miami through Martin Counties. We are a 10-year-old company managed by a 20 years of flooring experience owner and we have plans to open more locations in the South Florida area, it means a lot of opportunities for you to grow with us. We have 3 positions available to assist our Coconut Creek, Ft. Lauderdale and Stuart locations and they are essential to our growth as well are still in the expansion stage, establishing relationships and building our brand in these areas. Walk-ins is expected to increase as we go and the showroom is designed to attend builders, designers, investors in addition to homeowners. The Sales position at Quantum Floors requires Sales and Project Management responsibilities as we want our customers to have one point of contact from start to finish.

Store hours are Monday through Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm & Saturday 10:00am to 4:00pm

Responsibilities:

Showroom: Opening and closing the store on the assigned hours; turning on/off the lights, music, TV and alarm system, maintaining daily cleanliness of the entire store including emptying trash, wiping counter top, furniture, window seals, toilet and bathroom; ensure there are enough office and cafeteria supplies; answering all phone calls, missed calls, follow up, messages and recordings; ensuring all samples are organized, in good condition, and properly labeled.

Sale: Receiving customers cordially; educating and guiding customers about the products we offer (vinyl, laminate, engineered wood), and installation process differences; educating them on anything else they may be interested in learning; guiding them through our samples and letting them borrow for lighting and color approval; scheduling site evaluation for exact measuring, material and labor need for proper itemized proposals. Proving proposals based on different requested materials and areas; going through questions and objections, negotiating, and closing the sale.

Project Management: Confirming that material is available, installation date is set, and down payment is received, all materials need to be ordered with our vendors, follow up on delivery dates until material is received; send out the work order to our installation team, follow up with customers during installation for any questions and stopping by for a job walkthrough towards the end. Once job is done and customer is satisfied, collecting a final payment. Post-sale is also required by the Sales team with providing maintenance and cleaning information, requesting referrals and reviews, providing support in case of repair or warranty (material or labor).

Other responsibilities: maintaining a great relationship with manufacture and distributor reps, supporting all areas of the company, marketing related and customer acquisition duties (networking, make relationship with local business, organize and attend cocktails and happy hours) office administration and system processes (QFloors, Excel, Word, Outlook, etc), purchasing, take offs, customer service, promotions, problem resolution, special events, meeting sales, operational goals and any related additional tasks needed.

Pay: $31,200.00 - $40,000.00 per year
