Sales Associate

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Generation: Promote and sell a range of construction chemicals to new and existing clients (contractors, consultants, engineers).
  • Technical Support: Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and pre/after-sales support to ensure correct product application on-site.
  • Relationship Management: Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients, including architects, developers, and retailers.
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct market research to stay updated on competitor activities and market trends to adjust strategies and identify new business opportunities.
  • Sales Forecasting: Prepare and submit detailed proposals, quotations, and tender documents within set timelines.
  • Target Achievement: Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Project Specification: Engage with consultants and architects to get products specified in major projects. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

Key Requirements

  • Experience: Usually 1–5+ years in technical sales, specifically within construction chemicals or building materials.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of concrete repair, waterproofing, flooring systems, or sealants.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Education: A degree in Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemistry, or Marketing is often preferred.

Common Products Handled

  • Waterproofing: Acrylic coatings, bitumen membranes, cementitious barriers.
  • Concrete Repair: Injection materials, grouts, and repair mortars.
  • Flooring & Protection: Epoxy, polyurethane (PU) flooring, and sealants.
  • Admixtures: Chemical additives for concrete enhancement.

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
