Job Summary

A Sales Associate is responsible for assisting customers, promoting products or services, and achieving sales targets while providing excellent customer service. The role involves maintaining product knowledge, handling transactions, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products or services
• Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system
• Maintain product displays and ensure the store is clean and organized
• Achieve individual and team sales goals
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns professionally
• Monitor inventory levels and report stock shortages
• Stay updated on product features, promotions, and company policies
• Assist with merchandising and restocking shelves
• Build strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous retail or sales experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Customer-focused attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math and computer skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Team player with a positive attitude

Working Conditions

• Standing for extended periods
• Lifting and moving merchandise when necessary
• Working in retail stores, showrooms, or sales environments
