Job Summary

We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our flower shop team. The ideal candidate should have good communication skills, basic knowledge of flowers and gifting, and the ability to assist customers in selecting bouquets, arrangements, and gift items. The role includes sales, customer service, shop presentation, and supporting daily flower operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner
• Help customers choose flowers, bouquets, gifts, and customized arrangements
• Handle in-store sales, POS billing, and payment collection
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the shop and display area
• Assist in arranging flowers and preparing bouquets when required
• Manage customer orders from walk-ins, phone calls, WhatsApp, Instagram, and online platforms
• Coordinate with delivery staff for timely deliveries
• Restock flowers, packaging materials, and gift items
• Support inventory counting and stock management
• Upsell products such as chocolates, balloons, greeting cards, and gift add-ons
• Handle customer complaints politely and escalate issues when needed
• Follow company standards for customer service and shop operations

Requirements

• Previous retail or flower shop experience is preferred
• Good communication skills in English (Arabic/Hindi/Malayalam is an advantage)
• Basic computer and POS system knowledge
• Friendly personality with strong customer service skills
• Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Attention to detail and creativity is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of flowers and bouquet styles
• Social media or WhatsApp order handling experience
• Sales and upselling ability
• Teamwork and time management
