Sales Associate and Front Desk (Fitness Studio)

The SPLIT is a high-energy, community-driven fitness studio in Manalapan, NJ offering Ride, Run, and Strength training classes designed to challenge, inspire, and empower. Our mission is to help every member build confidence, strength, and endurance through movement, motivation, and music.

About the Role:
We're looking for a driven Front Desk Sales Associate who understands that the front desk is the engine of studio growth. This isn't just a check-in role — you'll own the full sales journey: converting leads into members, nurturing prospects through the pipeline, and making every person who walks through our door feel like they already belong.

You're equal parts people-person and closer. You know how to follow up without being pushy, how to handle objections with confidence, and how to turn a studio tour into a signed membership.

Responsibilities:

• Manage inbound and outbound lead outreach — texts, calls, emails, and DMs — to convert prospective members into active members
• Conduct engaging, personalized studio tours that speak to each prospect's fitness goals and close memberships on the spot
• Maintain and manage the lead pipeline in Walla CRM — logging activity, tracking follow-ups, and keeping data clean and current
• Proactively re-engage cold leads and lapsed members through targeted outreach campaigns
• Handle front desk operations: member check-ins, class scheduling, retail, and studio upkeep
• Build genuine relationships with members that drive referrals, retention, and community
• Collaborate with ownership to hit monthly membership sales goals and report on pipeline performance
• Represent The Split Studio brand with energy, professionalism, and authentic enthusiasm for what we do

Qualifications:

• Proven sales experience in a fitness, wellness, or membership-based environment
• Strong understanding of the full sales cycle — lead generation through close
• Comfortable with outbound outreach and following up consistently without dropping the ball
• Experience using a CRM (Walla experience is a major plus)
• Exceptional communication skills — warm, direct, and authentic
• Highly organized with strong attention to pipeline detail

Base Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
