Duties

• Greet customers warmly, provide product demonstrations, and assist with their shopping experience to boost sales and customer satisfaction
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions including cash handling and credit card processing
• Upsell products by understanding customer needs and highlighting relevant features to increase sales volume
• Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked and organized in line with company standards
• Create engaging social media content showcasing new arrivals, promotions, and store events to grow our online community
• Manage social media platforms by planning posts, responding to comments, and tracking engagement metrics
• Conduct product demos and educate customers on product features, benefits, and usage tips in a friendly manner
• Assist with inventory management tasks such as stocking shelves and conducting stock counts to ensure product availability

Skills

• Proven experience in retail sales with strong communication skills and excellent phone etiquette
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math for transactions
• Demonstrated ability to supervise or lead team members in a retail setting is a plus
• Bilingual abilities are highly valued for serving diverse customer bases effectively
• Knowledge of merchandising techniques and grocery store operations is advantageous
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to handle inquiries professionally and efficiently
• Creative mindset for content creation combined with good understanding of social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, or Facebook
• Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
