Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to enhance their shopping experience
• Assist customers with product selections, offering detailed information and conducting engaging product demos when appropriate
• Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for sales transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
• Upsell products by recommending complementary items to maximize sales opportunities
• Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays, restocking shelves, and ensuring the store looks attractive and inviting
• Manage inventory levels through stocking and stock rotation to ensure product availability at all times
• Handle phone inquiries professionally, providing information about products or store hours while maintaining excellent phone etiquette

Skills

• Proven experience in retail sales, preferably in a specialty store environment
• Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers; bilingual abilities are a plus
• Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities to assist in team coordination when needed
• Proficiency with POS systems and basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
• Knowledge of merchandising techniques and stock management practices
• Ability to perform product demos confidently and educate customers about high-end beverages
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Familiarity with retail math concepts such as pricing, discounts, and inventory management
• Professional phone etiquette for handling inquiries efficiently and courteously
