Sales Associate & Makeup Artist

Overview
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Makeup Artist to join our Merle Norman and Hallmark Gold Crown team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of makeup application techniques and trends, with the ability to enhance the beauty of our clients while providing exceptional customer service. As a Makeup Artist, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable experiences for our clients, ensuring they leave feeling confident and beautiful.

Duties

• Provide professional makeup applications for clients, ensuring their needs and preferences are met.
• Stay updated on the latest makeup trends, techniques, and products to provide informed recommendations.
• Assist clients in selecting appropriate products for their individual skin types and preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the makeup station and tools.
• Engage with clients at the front desk, managing appointments and walk-ins efficiently.
• Upsell products and services to enhance client experiences and drive sales.
• Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming atmosphere for clients.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly.

Skills

• Proficiency in English; multilingual abilities are a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
• Experience in retail sales, including upselling techniques.
• Familiarity with retail math to assist in inventory management and sales tracking.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple appointments effectively.
• Knowledge of Millennium software or similar systems is beneficial but not required.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
